El Chico - Chico Hamilton

"El Chico" is one of Hamilton's works that show his talent to produce  good dancefloor music (and not only).
It was Recorded in NY on August 26 & 27, 1965  for Impulse!  and produced by Bob Thiele.
The influences  of Latin jazz, bossa nova, and the avant-garde are mixed into an unusual musical blend which nevertheless takes over the listeners mood.
"El Chico"  would be the last session gith Szabo who  would after this album  pursue a solo career.
